Corona measures update January 2021: The curfew is a fact and will be implemented this weekend. Also, the maximum permitted visit in private is reduced from two visitors to one visitor. What are the consequences for real estate?

Evening viewings

An exception to the curfew will be made for certain activities. Home viewings are not considered to be activities of such importance that they are allowed to take place during the curfew. Therefore, as long as the curfew lasts, no visits to our homes can take place.

Maximum number of persons

Also, the maximum number of guests allowed in the private sphere has been reduced from two to one. However, a viewing of a residence is not considered 'private'. This means that a house may be visited by two people from one household and the estate agent. This rule is in line with the measures previously drawn up within vb&t Verhuurmakelaars.

We would like to draw your attention again to our earlier coronation measures in line with the rules of the RIVM:

Home inspections

• The pre-inspections of rental homes take place by telephone.
• Final inspections take place in the home.
• All persons present at the inspection wear masks.
• A minimum distance of 1.5 metres should be kept between them. We request that you attend the appointment with a maximum of 2 people.
• Do you or does one of your housemates have complaints that could be related to corona (such as a cold, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, fever, headache, muscle aches or loss of smell or taste)? Please contact the person you have scheduled an appointment with immediately.

Viewings:

• Stay at home with corona-related complaints such as a nose cold, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, fever, headache, muscle aches or loss of smell or taste.
• Viewings take place with the estate agent and a maximum of two people from one household.
• All persons present wear mouth masks.
• A minimum distance of 1.5 metres must be kept between them.
• Sneeze or cough into your elbow cavity.
• Use paper tissues, throw them away immediately after use and wash your hands.
