Soon you will be able to pay your first rent payment quickly, easily and securely via iDEAL with Mollie Payments.

In the past few months, vb&t Verhuurmakelaars has been running a pilot with tenants to make the first rent payment through Mollie Payments. We are very pleased with the results and are going to roll out this method further. In this article we'll tell you more about it.

Manual transfer

Before handing over the keys, a new tenant must have transferred the first rent payment (possibly including a deposit and costs for the name tag). Until now, a tenant receives an e-mail with the amount and makes sure that this amount is transferred to the account number. At key exchange, the proof of payment is shown to the Housing Inspector or Commercial Landlord.

Mollie Payments

We thought it could be easier! That's why we started looking at how we could set up the working method better. We ran a pilot with Mollie Payments. Mollie Payments makes it possible to pay with iDEAL. Mollie processes payments for web shops and rental parties such as vb&t Verhuurmakelaars. You can see them as an intermediary; they ensure that your money is safely transferred to the bank of vb&t Verhuurmakelaars.

Mollie Payments complies with all the requirements of the AFM (Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets). This means that payments are made according to strict requirements. The Mollie payment system is known as highly reliable. It's not for nothing that this payment service has been active on the market for so long and serves many customers!

Paying via MY DOSSIER

Are you going to rent a house with vb&t? Then your first rent payment is ready in MY DOSSIER. You simply pay the payment request via iDEAL. We can see that the first rent payment has been made: handing over a proof of payment at the key exchange is no longer necessary.
