On Tuesday 26 November 2024, our office welcomed a group of enthusiastic first-year students from Fontys College of Real Estate Studies for an instructive day. The students had the opportunity to expand their theoretical knowledge with two informative presentations focusing on current developments in the real estate sector.

The session began with an explanation of the new Affordable Rent Act, which focused on the updated Housing Rating System (WWS). Following this, the recent change in the ROZ Lease Agreement 2024 was discussed. These topics gave students a deeper insight into the legal and practical aspects of rent legislation and agreements.

After the presentations, it was time for the students to put the knowledge gained into practice. They were tasked with preparing their own WWS calculation for a property they visited that morning. This exercise offered them valuable experience in applying theoretical concepts in realistic situations.

This successful morning was not only an opportunity for the students to increase their professional knowledge, but also to get acquainted with the real estate sector.
