Spring has really begun! The sun is shining again and temperatures are rising. Since we are currently spending most of our free time in and around the house, now is the ideal time to get the garden or balcony ready for the good weather. Then we can also enjoy spring at home. Don't know where to start? We have a few tips for you!
Garden
Do you have a garden with plants? Then it's high time to get to work on the weeds and pruning. Are there plants and shrubs that need to be pruned in the spring? With the sun shining, this job is easily done! Warmer temperatures also mean that weeds and grasses start to grow faster. Time to weed and mow the lawn. Can the grass use some extra nutrition? Then you can fertilise it. The best time for this is after mowing and just before a rainstorm. So keep a close eye on the weather forecast. After pruning, weeding or planting new plants, do not forget to water the soil. Are the plants looking good again? Then it is time to pay attention to the terrace! Before you bring out the garden furniture, you can wipe the terrace tiles clean and spray them with the high-pressure cleaner, if necessary. Finally, put the cushions in the garden chairs and enjoy!Balcony

A balcony is often smaller than a garden, but that doesn't mean you have fewer options for making it cosy. Think nice garden furniture, small vegetable gardens, wall decorations and other accessories. Would you like greenery on your balcony? You don't need a garden for planting, just a hanging garden! With cute hanging baskets and railing bins, you can give your plants a nice spot. Want some green under your feet? Then you can always install artificial grass on your balcony. No hassle with mowing and weeding, but still a green balcony!Have you arranged the plants? Then it's time to think about the furniture. Go for a cosy bench or individual chairs or create your own seating area with wooden pallets and a few cushions! Would you like to make the most of the space on your balcony? Then you can also buy crates or benches and tables with storage space underneath.
