How do I share my data through MyQii?

When you rent a property from vb&t Verhuurmakelaars, you need to share certain information with us. This can be a long-winded and complicated process, especially if you don't know where to find all this data. With the app MyQii, we simplify this process for you. In this article, we take you step by step through the use of the app.

Sharing data safely

To rent a property from us, we ask you to share data with us via MyQii. Through this app, you can safely share your data from various government sources with us without having to go to great lengths yourself. When starting the app, you log in with your DigiD account, after which the app does all the work for you. MyQii gives you extra control and insight into which data you share with which parties. When do I need to use MyQii?

During the registration process we ask you to create a MyQii account. Are you already registered with vb&t Verhuurmakelaars? Then you will see the "MyQii" button in your iDD file under "Documents" from now on. Here you can activate your MyQii account.

Do you not live in the Netherlands? Then unfortunately you cannot use the MyQii app. You will therefore have to manually upload your documents into your file in the "old" way.

How do I download MyQii?

We will tell you when you need to use the MyQii app, such as when you register with vb&t Verhuurmakelaars. During registration, you will be instructed to download the MyQii app. Two QR codes will appear on your screen. By turning on the camera on your mobile phone and pointing it at one of the codes, you will "scan" the code. Depending on which phone you have, the link that appears on screen will direct you to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. There you will download the MyQii app.

How do I share my data through MyQii?

When opening the MyQii app, you will be asked if you already have an account. If you already have an account, log in and click the "Share" button at the bottom left. Don't have an account? Then click on "Create account".

When we request you to download MyQii online, a code will appear on the same website page. After completing the above steps, the app will ask you for this code. Enter it.

After entering the code, you will be asked to enter your contact details. Enter your e-mail address and phone number. After you enter your details, the app will ask you to set a PIN that will help you secure your app. Enter this code. The app will ask for this code every time you open it.

Your account is ready to use! Now you can start sharing your data with vb&t Verhuurmakelaars.

The app will ask you for some details to complete your search profile. In these screens, fill in what family composition you want to live in the property with and how many children you want to live with. Also fill in what type of income you have and whether you have equity. With this information, we can see if you qualify for the property in question.

The app will then ask you for your name and bank account. Here, enter the bank account you will use for debits and/or deposits related to rent. Don't worry, nothing will be debited until a rental contract is signed. The app will then indicate what data the app will collect from MijnOverheid.

The app will then ask you to log in with your DigiD. Depending on how you choose to log in, you will have to go through a short DigiD login process. You can just log in here as you normally do with DigiD.

On the next screen, you can choose how the app collects the data. You can choose to enter your login details yourself at each step, but the app can also do this automatically for you. In the next steps, MyQii will tell you which financial data it retrieves from MijnBelastingdienst and which work data it retrieves from MijnUWV.

Certain data on the documents MyQii collects are redundant and sensitive. To protect your privacy, the app will remove this data from the document. However, you need to give permission for this.

The next two screens will show what data you will share. You can also view the data yourself by tapping the arrows. You need to give permission twice. Once for storing your data in your MyQii account and once for sharing your data with vb&t Verhuurmakelaars.
